Chattanooga celebrations/Spectacular evening!

The Chattanooga celebration was a huge success. Last night was spectacular. Music, dancing, laser light show, The Chattanooga symphony, Yachts and boats on the water, an amazing fire works display and near perfect weather!

It was truly an evening that I will remember for a long time to come. I consider myself truly blessed to be doing what I dearly love, and being able to make a living at it. Last night was very special to me musically because it was very different than what I do on a regular basis. Here I was in this gorgeous setting surrounded by water on one side and great architecture on the other side, set up on a barge on the river with some of my good friends who are amazing on their respective instruments, playing music for “Project Bandaloop” to dance to on the Chattanooga draw bridge.(Project Bandaloop is a group of aerial dancers who dance from High buldings, mountains, castles and in this instance the Chattanooga draw bridge ) It was just spectacular!

We also played in a tent for a smaller crowd earlier in the evening with “Hammer on” and special guests Butch and Christie. Butch plays mountain Dulcimer and Christie plays Hammer Dulcimer. They added a nice touch to the evening’s festivities

I sit here reminiscing and smiling about yesterday and I look forward to playing with my dear friends soon.
