In the studio with Russ Ferrante and the Perry sisters
I got a chance to sit at the controls and enjoy the extra ordinary playing of Russ ferrante and the Perry sisters. Our sound engineer Keith Rice asked me if I would engineer a project for him at our studio. It was for his two friends Jimmy and Jerome Ali from Detroit. Jerome is an amazing Jazz guitarist and his brother Jimmy is a phenomenal bass player. I agreed to do the project as I knew the music was fun and I was going to get to record and hear all these amazing musicians. Russ Ferrante has got to be one of my favorite musicians on the planet and I love the Perry sisters, they sound like one person singing and they take you straight to church with their beautiful voices! It was a 12 hour day in the studio and I am pooped, but very happy that we had a very productive and musical day Amen!
Tomorrow we track Joey Deleon on percussion and the EWF experience horns.

Has the Georgia Barretto album been completed?
I knew Jerome and Jimmy growing up in Detroit. They lived on Littlefield. If you see them again tell them Patricia (Pat) Duell (was Kinney then) say's hello, and I hope they are doing well.
Thanks!
