Flying home! Had fun with the kids!

I am on an airplane on my way home from Marseilles France via Amsterdam. The tour was a success, we played to enthusiastic crowds in Belgrade, Serbia and in Six Four, France. The setting in Six Four was picturesque, the stage was set right by the ocean and the back-drop was the old town and harbor, during the show I would turn around and take in the scenery. I have been truly blessed by the good lord to be able to make a living at what I love most.

The high light of this trip was seeing Vanessa and Dylan. I surprised them by driving up to their home, they were so excited to see me. Vanessa and I spent the afternoon at Dylan’s school and took part in his painting class, that was a lot of fun. I brought home souvenirs from that class! After Dylan was done with school the three of us drove to Schinznach Bad a mineral hot water spring and we had our friend Bandula Mendis and his daughter Anisha join us. That is one of my favorite things to do when I go to Switzerland. I spent the night at a hotel by their home and the two of them met me for breakfast at 6.30 in the morning. After breakfast I said bye to Dylan as ha had to go to school and I spent a short time in Vanessa’s school, since it was their last day of school before summer break, there wasn’t much to do in school, the teacher asked us to do some drawing. The hardest thing for me is to bid farewell to my kids, that breaks my heart everytime. I look forward to seeing them soon.

It sounds like you have a wonderful life, what a blessing that is. You mentioned two old friends of mine in a previous post, Jimmy and Jerome Ali. If you happen to see them again tell them Patricia (Pat) from Detroit say's hello. I knew them when we were teens and they lived on Littlefield.
