Just got back from Puerto Rico. I was there with the Ralph MacDonald NY all stars. We played for a corporate event. The setting was amazing. Warm weather and humidity in the air reminded me so much of home. The resort we stayed and performed was by the water on top of a hill over looking the ocean, just spectacular! It was a very fun gig. The band comprised of Ralph on percussion, Clinton Crawford on keys, Robert Greenidge on steel drums, Russ Henry on drums, Nadirah on vocals and my self on bass. We played compositions by Ralph (Just the two of us, where is the love) which were sung by Nadirah and Clinton and some instrumental compositions by Robert. It was a very musical band that played with a lot of dynamics and interaction. Looking forward to playing with them again soon.
I will be in the studio next week finishing Georgia Barretto's CD. She is a singer/song writer from Brazil who lives in Utah. The musicians on the CD will be Rique Pantoja on keys, Walter Rodriguez on drums, Georgia on vocals and guitar, myself on bass and some guest musicians that Georgia has invited to play on a few tracks. looking forward to finishing her CD as she has been waiting so patiently for me to return from my travels!
